For many of Hong Kong’s renown Chinese restaurants, you’ll often find the names of dishes aren’t what they seem. They are usually over-the-top, beautiful sounding, auspicious descriptions that have no relation to the dish at all.
We wanted to create noise with Pizza Hut x Yung Kee’s first ever pizza together by calling it an exaggerated extravagant name — that’s a both delicious and a mouthful (punintended).
At the same time, we wanted to give an unforgettable Yung Kee dining experience for pizza lovers at home by designing a special “lazy suzan” turntable box - much like the ones you see them serving your food on when you’re seated at a round table.
